Intelligis

On Thursday, September 10, 2020, a webinar was held between Intelligis and Esri on how Geographic Information Systems (GIS) technology is benefiting distribution and logistics companies in the Consumer Goods sector.

For 60 minutes, more than 100 attendees connected to listen to three Intelligis experts share their experiences in the Consumer Goods sector and how GIS technology is helping distribution and logistics companies become more efficient.

Guillermo Gonzalez, Senior Consultant in Commercial and Digital Transformation, discussed the challenges distributors face today and how senior management is making data-driven decisions.

Joel Brea, Regional Director of Business Development at Intelligis, provided a digital journey through the processes of distribution companies, detailing key technological needs and how Geographic Information Systems (GIS) can help them become a Distributor 4.0—boosting sales while reducing costs.

Finally, Cecilia Álvarez, Geomarketing Specialist at Intelligis, demonstrated the functionalities of SmartMaps® for Distributors, a solution that digitally transforms distributor operations using GIS technology, based on Intelligis’ well-established field operations management platform, SmartMaps®.

SmartMaps® for Distributors includes modules designed to address the most critical challenges for distributors, such as order taking, route planning and optimization, delivery management, and point-of-sale data capture. It integrates vehicle tracking units (AVL), IoT sensors, information layers, and mobile applications, all within a geographic and real-time context.
