On August 28–29, Intelligis participated as a strategic partner of Esri Panama in the Esri Panama User Conference 2025 (CUE25), the country’s leading geospatial event, held at the Latin American Parliament headquarters in Panama City.
Under the theme “GIS: Integrating everything, everywhere”, more than 1,300 participants gathered to explore how Artificial Intelligence and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) are transforming decision-making across industries, governments, and organizations.
From the field to the boardroom: geodata that drives business
In his presentation “From the field to the boardroom”, Jesús Sosa, Intelligis’ Director of Geospatial Data, highlighted how georeferenced data has become the “new digital oil” for retail and other strategic sectors. Yet he stressed an essential point: data alone doesn’t create value—it’s the interpretation and analysis that turn information into strategic decisions.
He explained how Artificial Intelligence enhances the frequency, quality, and precision of geospatial analysis, transforming raw information into actionable insights that improve efficiency, optimize resources, and uncover new opportunities.
